About Me
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Quantitative Marketing at the Mitch Daniels School of Business, Purdue University. My research focuses on consumer mobility and spatial competition. I study how consumer mobility shapes demand and retail competition using large-scale geolocation and consumer choice data. I view mobility broadly, from consumers’ daily trajectories and exposures along their sequences of movement to temporal frictions, such as their willingness to wait. I am interested in what these movements reveal beyond where consumers live or shop. Methodologically, I combine structural models, machine learning, and experimental design.
Prior to my Ph.D., I worked at Samsung Electronics as a new product developer and consumer researcher, where I learned to translate consumer data into product and marketing decisions.
